You’ve spent your lifetime developing a certain set of skills that somebody else, who is currently “lost in the process,” could benefit from. Likewise, there are gaps in your knowledgebase that might be keeping you from reaching the next level, be it in business, marketing, or the very artforms you’re working to master. As part of the Heartland Creative Corps granting initiative with United Way of Merced County and Tuolumne and Stanislaus County Arts Councils, we’ve engaged the online platform Mentorly to connect local artists who have something to teach, with those who wish to learn. Through one-on-one online conversations, small-group, or Masterclasses, we hope to better connect the arts community of the Central Valley with this tool, providing growth opportunities to Merced County Artists.
